I remain unconvinced. I've seen several "miracle additive" threads over the years and even tried dosing buffered Vitamin C (couldn't tell much difference). I lean toward the "good water change regimen" school of thought but I only have a rarely fed / mostly softie 20 gallon with a DSB and no skimmer at the moment.
I haven't tried it but I have herd that it works. It takes some time for it to work so its not a fast fix. I am like you I believe in doing my water changes. But if ya need more help this might be another way to help get it done.

I can see where it could help in a large sps tank (especially bare bottom) that you have to feed regularly. If you're skimming enough to keep the water "pure" then you're probably removing a lot of dissolved organics that your corals could use.
